Tom Davidson I have worked within the event and entertainments industry for the last 4 years, with permanent roles including Anything Audio, Shortstack Audio, Leeds University and other freelance projects at a number of established venues. I have an in-depth knowledge in the design, manufacture and installation of music systems for indoor and outdoor venues. I pride myself on being a diverse team member; I am at home with anything from mixing front of house, organising crew to system design. I work with live and recorded music events from conferences to large scale festivals and enjoy taking a lead role. I thrive off working in difficult situations with strict deadlines to get the blood pumping. As the Crew manager at Anything Audio I deal with all aspects of crew services from acting crew chief to logistics and health & safety. It is my responsibility to ensure that we provide high quality, reliable crew for each event and that they have the support they need to perform at their best. Anything Audio are.... Hazel Plummer During the period of setting up Anything Audio there are several people who have contributed their time and enthusiasm, or just lent an ear & acted as a sounding board. All my thanks to Alex Chapman, Ruth Irwin, John Harman, Phil Evans, Adam Martin, Ben Yates, Cre, Jamie, Miss Laurie Briggs, Chris from Creative Contacts & Martin to name but a few. The amount of support, good wishes & belief from everyone has been amazing and really helped during this hectic time. I have been a  professional freelance sound engineer for over 12 years. I have worked on events at all levels from fireworks, rock, pop, world music, orchestral and vocal systems. I have worked closely with Purple Pro Audio for the last 6 years, doing a mix of live events and recording projects. I love sharing knowledge and have taught studio recording and live sound production at Leeds College of Music for the last 4 years. In 2010 I was the Sound Designer, Recording engineer, Mixing Engineer & Producer for the BBC Symphony for Yorkshire. It was a massive challenge and although I have always enjoyed and thrived with such projects, it really brought home to me that I should be focussing on that type of work. The decision to leave Purple was very difficult but I wanted to stand on my own and change direction. I am a multi-skilled person and need to be challenged on a daily basis. I’m well known around Leeds for my love of perfectly labelled and colour co-ordinated stages and a dedication to getting things as near to perfection as practically possible. I have a close relationship with the people I work for and with and forming Anything Audio seemed the next logical step.
